agreed, MAB plays 400 notes a second and thats impressive in its own right, but not especially nice to listen to. Vai has some amazing compositions and can also put soul into his playing, same with Satch. Johnson is just in a league of his own as far as feel and nuance goes. i like to think of him and SRV as comparable players, Vaughn having more soul and less technical ability, Johnson having more technical and less soul.
